Start with your original bulb and the exact lighting position. A vehicle model name or base code alone is not enough to confirm compatibility.

Check these details first

1. Original bulb code and socket contacts.
2. Rated voltage, single or dual function and polarity.
3. Overall dimensions and available lens or housing clearance.
4. Dimming, bulb monitoring, residual glow and flash behaviour.
5. For exterior lamps: required colour, beam behaviour and local road-use requirements.

Wedge or festoon?

T10 / W5W bulbs use a wedge base. SV8.5 festoon bulbs have contacts at both ends; compare the actual contact-to-contact length. Check each product specification rather than assuming every bulb in a family is interchangeable.
